Nothing Phone 2 (a) teased ahead of launch date: Glyph interface, centrally-aligned camera module revealed - Details

Nothing Phone (2a) First Look: Ahead of the scheduled launch, London-based tech company Nothing has teased the design of Phone (2a). The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will be launched on March 5. 

"An unboxing like no other. Phone (2a) just dropped in London. Launching 5 March," the company said in a release. 

The CGI (computer-generated imagery) video shared by the company has also confirmed that the smartphone will come with its signature glyph interface. There were rumours that the company may ditch the feature for the Phone 2(a). It has now been confirmed that there are three LED lights in the glyph interface.

While this is going to be the most affordable smartphone by Nothing, the design is totally different from the other two smartphones of the company. The new video clearly shows that the Nothing Phone 2(a) will come with a centrally-aligned camera module.

The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will come with a custom Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, developed in collaboration with semiconductor company MediaTek. 

Nothing Phone (2a) Expected Features:

Nothing Phone (2a) Display: The Phone (2a) is expected to offer an OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, providing users with a vibrant and smooth viewing experience with a screen size of 6.7 inches, equivalent to 108.0 cm².

Nothing Phone (2a) Storage: The device can offer storage and memory options, with configurations including 128GB storage with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with 12GB RAM.

Nothing Phone (2a) Camera: The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a dual setup on the rear with a 50MP wide lens and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, the device can have a 16MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.

Nothing Phone (2a) Connectivity: Connectivity-wise, the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, and Bluetooth 5.3. It can also feature USB Type-C 2.0 and OTG support for convenient data transfer and charging.
