iOS 16 update on iPhone 13: Apple brings new camera features for Portraits and Cinematic mode

The latest iOS 16 update adds new Camera app functionality for For iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max users. On its iOS 16 website, Apple revealed that there are two new iPhone 13-exclusive features for Portrait images and Cinematic mode.
"When using Portrait mode, iOS 16 lets you blur objects that are in the foreground of a photo for a more realistic depth-of-field effect, rather than just allowing for the adjustment of background blur," MacRumors reported.
According to the report, In Cinematic mode, blur quality has also improved. Apple said that when recording videos in Cinematic mode, the depth-of-field effect is now more accurate for profile angles and around the edges of hair and glasses. These two new camera features are exclusive to Apple's iPhone 13 lineup at the current time, but the iPhone 14 is also likely to support these additions.
Also, iOS 16 is delivering the biggest update ever to the Lock Screen, and new sharing, communication, and intelligence features that together change the way users experience iPhone. iOS 16 introduces iCloud Shared Photo Library to seamlessly share a collection of photos with family, updates to Messages and Mail that help users stay in touch with ease, and powerful enhancements to Live Text and Visual Look Up.
The Lock Screen gets more personal, beautiful, and helpful with iOS 16. With a new multilayered effect, the subjects of photos are artfully set in front of the time on the Lock Screen, creating a sense of depth. Users can also change the look of the date and time with expressive type styles and colour choices.
Apple has also made changes to Focus. Now, users can have separate Focuses with customised lockscreens in iOS 16-powered devices.
Apple is bringing three new features to Messages, which include ability to edit messages, undo send messages to recall sent messages and the ability to mark a message thread as read. It has also brought SharePlay to apps. It is also bringing SharePlay to Messages, which in turn will enable users to share details using SharePlay directly from Messages.
It is bringing on-device dictation to iPhones. This feature will enable users to move between voice and touch simultaneously. Apple says that now, the keyboard will stay open, which will enable users to switch between using voice-based commands to touch-based commands easily. Additionally, users will be able to add punctuation and emojis using voice commands.
