Battlegrounds Mobile India Latest Updates: The Battlegrounds Mobile India is yet to make an entry in India, but the gaming enthusiasts cannot be more excited about the launch. Till now, the official launch date has not yet been announced but a number of features of Battlegrounds Mobile India are already out. The gaming fans cannot keep their calm because of a feature that they have recently come to know of.

It has been revealed that Battlegrounds Mobile India will now come with an 'Erangle Map' as per a BGR India report. Battlegrounds Mobile India has now released a new teaser that showcases the polaroids of the game. Among them, there is an image featuring familiar-looking water tank and the mention of the name ‘Erangle'. This confirms the presence of the map which was also a feature of PUBG Mobile but there is a twist in the tale as the map was spelt 'Erangel' in PUBG Mobile. However, this development appears to be quite ironic because Krafton aims to keep these two games separate entities so that the rebrand of the PUBG Mobile in India does not get jinxed.

Now, the reason behind spelling the name in a different way is possibly Krafton's way of detaching itself from the banned game. As said earlier, in Battlegrounds Mobile India, the map is spelt as 'Erangle Map' while in case of PUBG Mobile, the spelling of the map was 'Erangel'.

The Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile India on September 2, 2020, due to data privacy concerns under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will come as an exciting package for the Indian users. This new release from Krafton will come with exclusive in-game events like outfits and features. In addition to that, the new game will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. Though it is expected that the battle royale game will be similar to the original PUBG Mobile in most of the aspects, the possibility of a little change here and there in the Indian version of the game cannot be totally avoided.

It must be noted that the pre-registration for the Android users of Battlegrounds Mobile India started on May 18, 2021.
