Big 10 Sale: Here are 5 key discounts & offers on Flipkart's upcoming season

If you are looking for offers and discounts on products for your online purchase this weekend, then there's some good news as the Flipkart will begin its 'Big 10 Sale' starting this Sunday.

India's homegrown e-commerce giant Flipkart will start its 'Big 10 Sale' from midnight of May 14 this year and it will last till May 18.

Flipkart has announced this 'Big 10 Sale' this year to thank its customers for their support in the company's successful completion of 10 years into the online retail business. 

"Flipkart’s 10 years have been all about the Indian customer and we’ve received an immense amount of love and support over the past decade. The Big 10 Sale is our biggest by far after Big Billion Days and it’s our way of thanking customers for that overwhelming  response," Flipkart chief executive officer Kalyan Krishnamurthy said in statement issued on May 5 this year.

The 'Big 10 Sale' is set to have discounts and offers on all products right from fashion to the latest smartphones, electronics, smart televisions, home decor and home appliances.

Moreover, the sale will feature offers from all top brands across categories, cited the company's statement.  

If you are making a purchase of products during the sale via your HDFC Bank credit cards you will get 10% instant discounts on the minimum purchase of Rs 6,499. The maximum cashback permitted on each HDFC Bank credit card is Rs 1,500.

Here are 5 key disounts & offers of Flipkart's upcoming 'Big 10 Sale': 

1. For women's fashion products like apparel, handbangs, watches, shoes, etc., the sale will have 50 to 90% off on brands like Vero Moda, Aurelia, Lavie,  Catwalk, among others

2. For men's fashion products, the sale will have 50 to 90% off on brands like Reebok, Lee, Fastrack, Benetton, et al 

3. In smartphones category, the sale will have up to Rs 10,500 off on exchange of old phones for purchase of Lenovo K5 Note which is priced at Rs 11,499 while up to Rs 6,500 off on exchange of old phone for Moto E3 Power  priced at Rs 6,999

4. In Laptops category, the Intel Core i3 Laptop start from Rs 20,990 with up to Rs 4,000 extra off in the upcoming sale

5. In the electronics category, Sansui 1.5 tonne Split AC is available at Rs 22,999 instead of Rs 28,990 with no cost EMI while VU 32 inch HD Ready LED TV is priced at Rs 12,499 instead of Rs 17,000
