The idea of a workplace is evolving with the transforming office experience, and more specifically it shows the role of technology in redefining the office spaces post-pandemic. Offices are now geared toward a collaborative work environment with digital devices becoming the key tools of productivity and efficiency at work, making resilient coworking space.
According to a study, the co-working industry is set to record a stable growth rate of about 21.3% from the previous year. In addition, it is seen to be adopting both technology and digitalization while offering firms a suite of hi-tech work and other cutting-edge technological tools.
Post covid 19 lockdown, the interior choices of people have changed a lot with perspective to their homes and now their offices too. As gradually employees are returning to offices, organizations are adding in a few technological advancements and comfort options around the space. As technology continues to develop at a rapid pace, it is having a huge impact on the design of the modern office.
The shift in office design
The technological capabilities which are readily available for various processes are affecting the present and future of how a certain work process functions and how it affects the interior design of workspaces. In addition, combining the factors of providing flexibility and promoting employee safety and well-being are making offices reconsider their workspace interior design.

In 2022, the traditional office as we know it will be unrecognisable, with technology-driven workplaces being at the forefront of workplace design trends in 2022,” he added.
Technology driving modern workspaces
Unlike the traditional work models, employees multiply their impact of work with technology and digital devices. Offices are deploying a new set of technology tools that help companies raise the bar of their operations and work delivery. According to a survey, nearly 100 million jobs in 2025 may emerge being more adapted to the new division of labour between humans, machines and algorithms.

According to various surveys, the demand within the country for flexible workspaces will continue to rise in the coming years with an ever-expanding workforce and with an increased focus on increasing workspace floor size mandates. Currently on an average Coworking spaces are working on 90% occupancy.
