DDA rolls out special housing scheme: 5,000 flats to be sold starting June 30, check details here
While DDA is offering HIG flats in Jasola, MIG flats will be on offer in Dwarka and Narela. The LIG and EWS flats are located in Narela, Rohini, Siraspur and Loknayak Puram.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) approved the rollout of Phase IV of a housing scheme on Wednesday, June 14. Under this special housing scheme DDA will sell around 5,000 flats in the high-income group (HIG), middle-income group (MIG) and low-income group (LIG) categories.
Reports suggest that DDA’s highest decision-making body chaired by Lt Governor VK Saxena gave its approval for the launch of this housing scheme. It is worth noting that the sale will be carried out online on first-come, first-serve basis from June 30 onwards. You can secure your preferred home in desired localities by making a payment of a token amount. Besides, you should not own any plot or house in Delhi.
DDA flats locations
According to DDA's official statement, as many as 5,000 flats will be available under this phase of the scheme. There is a possibility that more flats will be made available in the future, if there is high demand. While DDA is offering HIG flats in Jasola, MIG flats will be on offer in Dwarka and Narela. The LIG and EWS flats are located in Narela, Rohini, Siraspur and Loknayak Puram.
Total Number of DDA flats in HIG, MIG and LIG categories
1) DDA has kept 40-50 High Income Group (HIG) flats in Jasola.
2) As many as 200 Middle Income Group (MIG) houses will be offered in Narela and Dwarka.
3) DDA has apportioned more than 1,500 flats in Rohini, 140 flats in Loknayak Puram, and around 120 in Siraspur for the Lower Income Group (LIG) category.
4) More than 900 flats will be on offer in Narela for the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) group.
What is the price for the flats?
One of the highlights of the scheme is that prices for most of the EWS/ LIG flats have been kept in line with the Special Housing Scheme of 2021. Meanwhile, the rest of the flats have been kept at the prices offered during 2022-23.
Rohini flats will be priced between Rs 14.15 lakh and Rs 41.11 lakh and those in Loknayak Puram will be priced between Rs 27.5 lakh and Rs 28.5 lakh.
The least expensive flats in the LIG category in Siraspur will be priced between Rs 17.5 lakh and Rs 17.75 lakh.
