LPG Cylinder Price – Relief for consumers as cooking gas prices cut by THIS MUCH from TODAY
BIG RELIEF - The common man has been hit by rising fuel prices, be it petrol, diesel or LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) cylinder. While the Government has not increased the prices of petrol and diesel after slashing it on 30th March, 2021, it has given relief on the cooking fuel too. In a relief to common man, the prices of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder have been cut down by Rs 10 and the new prices are implemented from today i.e. 1 April 2021. Source: PTI
LPG Prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai
The LPG cylinder prices have become cheaper by Rs 10 starting from 1 April, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has said. In Delhi and Mumbai, a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder will cost around Rs 809. While in Kolkata, LPG cylinder is now available at Rs 835.50. In Chennai, the price of LPG cylinders will be at Rs 825. Source: PTI

Every Indian household is entitled to 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg each at subsidised rates in a year. If somebody needs more cylinders, then he is required to purchase it at the market price. Under the Narendra Modi Government’s flagship scheme PAHAL (Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG), consumers get LPG cylinders at a subsidised rate. Source:PTI
