You must want to buy insurance. After all, everyone wants to protect their families against all emergencies and nasty eventualities. However, due to paucity of time, many refrain from doing so. But now, it is time to stop all the excuses! If you are looking to buy an insurance policy then you can do it easily through an app and complete the process very fast. MobiKwik, a digital financial services platform, has rolled out an app through which you can buy an insurance policy easily. 

An insurance policy purchase is extremely simplified and a MobiKwik user can buy insurance in less than 10 seconds.  A user can buy an insurance of Rs 1 lakh for a year for as low as Rs 20, the digital financial services provider said in a statement.

Through this app one will be able to choose and purchase from a range of life insurance and general insurance products.  This is MobiKwik's third big launch in the financial services domain this year. The app will suggest users the right insurance product, and selected basis self-profiling of customer, advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence algorithm, it said.

MobiKwik has rolled out accidental insurance for the users in the first phase. It will be partnering with leading insurance companies to offer the extensive range of products to its users, it said. Buying an insurance will be a paperless, two-step process and issuance of the policy will be instant. Users can purchase insurance either via the app or the MobiKwik website, it said.

Commenting on the launch, Ms Upasana Taku, Co-founder and Director, MobiKwik said, "We aim to cater to over 150 mn mass and emerging affluent customers through our product range."

MobiKwik recently launched the buying and selling of digital gold platform in partnership with SafeGold. It also announced that its customers could convert their digital gold to gold jewellery from CaratLane, both online and at any of their stores in India.
