The date for releasing the 10th installment under PM Kisan Yojana (PM Kisan) has been fixed. All necessary arrangements have been made by the government to transfer the installment.
The government has given Rs 1.58 lakh crore to 11.37 crore farmers. Now the central government is planning to release the next installment ie the 10th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM KISAN scheme) by 15 December 2021. It is worth noting that the government had transferred money to the farmers on 25 December 2020 last year.
Under this scheme, farmers who have not received the 9th installment of PM Kisan in their account will now get the previous amount, along with the next installment. That is, farmers will now get Rs 4000.
But let us tell you that this facility will be available only to those farmers who have registered before 30 September. If you have also applied, it is possible that you will get Rs 4000 together.
The government rolled out the Central Sector Scheme- PM-KISAN to provide financial assistance of up to Rs 6,000 annually to small and marginalised farmers across the country.
The financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year is to be released to the eligible farmers in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each every 3-month which is April-July, August-November and December-March.
So, how many members in a family can claim the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi benefit? Well, the government has clearly mentioned that under the scheme an income support of Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments will be provided to small and marginal farmer families having combined land holding/ownership of up to 2 hectares.
The definition of family for the scheme is husband, wife and minor children. State Government and UT administration will identify the farmer families which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines. As per the rule of the scheme, only one member of the family can get its benefit and not both husband and wife.
