PM Kisan 15th installment: Check reasons for not credited, delay, follow these steps to receive Rs 2000 in your account
PM Kisan 15th installment: The cumulative disbursement has now surpassed Rs 2.62 lakh crore through 14 installments, showcasing the ongoing commitment to support farmers. However, it is worth noting that despite the program's success, some eligible farmers may encounter challenges in receiving their benefits.
On November 15, Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 15th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana, totaling over Rs 18,000 crore, benefiting more than 80 million farmers. With a cumulative disbursement exceeding Rs 2.62 lakh crore across 14 installments, the initiative supports farmers. Despite its success, some eligible farmers may face non-receipt issues.
Help Desk
In response to such concerns, farmers experiencing non-receipt of installments can register complaints through the PM-KISAN Helpdesk. Complaints can be communicated through helpline numbers 011-24300606 and 155261, or the toll-free number 18001155266. Alternatively, emails can be directed to pmkisan-ict@gov.in or pmkisan-funds@gov.in.
For those who have not received the 15th installment (Rs2,000), complaints can be filed during weekdays through the PM-KISAN Helpdesk or by emailing the matter.
Possible reason of not receiving the amount
Non-compliance with e-KYC norms may be a reason for non-receipt, as the government has made it mandatory for all PM-KISAN Yojana beneficiaries. Eligible farmers are entitled to accrued benefits once the delay's cause is resolved, provided they do not fall under exclusion criteria.
Before filing a complaint, farmers are advised to verify their inclusion in the beneficiary list through the following steps:
- Visit pmkisan.gov.in
- Navigate to 'Beneficiary Status' in the 'Farmers Corner'
- Fill in details: Choose state, district, Sub-District, and Panchayat
- Enter registered Aadhaar or bank account number
- Click 'Get Data' to view installment status
In response to farmer grievances, the Central government initiated an expansive saturation campaign last month. However, achieving 100% saturation among landowners may be challenging due to exclusion criteria outlined in operational guidelines.
To address this, the ministry has developed an IT system for automated saturation, aided by the PM-KISAN Mobile App, allowing digital registration and comprehensive farmer registries.
To enroll in the 'PM-Kisan Yojana,' follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website www.pmkisan.gov.in and click on the "New Farmer Registration" option.
- Choose your preferred language to proceed.
- If you are a farmer in an urban area, opt for the "Urban Farmer" option; for those in rural areas, select "Rural Farmer Registration."
- Provide your Aadhaar number, phone number, and select your state.
- Enter details about your land.
- Upload and save documents related to your land.
- Complete the process by entering the captcha code, clicking on "Get OTP," and submitting the received OTP.
