PPF withdrawal: Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) allows subscribers to take advance from their provident fund accumulations in certain cases. All the individuals who have a portion of their salary deposited as an Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). What is the UMANG app?
The Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance is a mobile app, a Digital India initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, by the Government of India for access to central and state government services. This app is available in 13 Indian languages and is available for Android, iOS and Windows
How to withdraw PPR money through the app:
Step 1: Download and register on the Umang app.
Step 2: Choose the EPFO option from the many options available on the app.
Step 3: Fill in your UAN number by selecting the raise claim option.
Step 4: Put the OTP received on your registered mobile number in EPFO.
Step 5: Select the type of withdrawal from your PF account and fill in the form.
Step 6: Submit the form and receive a reference number for the withdrawal request.
Step 7: Track the withdrawal request using the reference number provided.
Step 8: EPFO will transfer the money within 3 to 5 days.
