Pensioners can submit Digital Life Certificate - Jeevan Pramaan at their nearest CSC center.
Here is an important update for pensioners. Is your Life Certificate due in November 2021? You can submit Digital Life Certificate - Jeevan Pramaan at your nearest CSC center.
This step has been taken in order to avoid unnecessary crowd/standing in the queue during present Covid-19 time.

Official Twitter Handle of Common Services Centres, a Government of India entity working under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology tweeted about the same. "Attention Pensioners, is your Life Certificate due in November 2021? Avoid unnecessary crowd/standing in the queue during present COVID time. Submit Digital Life Certificate - Jeevan Pramaan at your nearest CSC center," it said.

Pensioners can search nearest CSC by clicking on 'Locate a Centre' on https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in portal or alternately you can send SMS to 7738299899. The SMS body must start with keyword "JPL" and after space write your pin-code. e.g. JPL 110003 and send it to 7738299899, as per the information provided by Jeevan Pramaan official website.
It can be noted that Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled Aadhaar-based Digital Life Certificate (DLC) for pensioners. Jeevan Pramaan i.e DLC is generated for individual pensioner using his/her Aadhaar number and Biometrics.
A pensioner whose Pension Sanctioning Authority (PSA) is onboarded on to Jeevan Pramaan is eligible for Jeevan Pramaan. List of onboarded PSA, can be found under 'Circulars' tab on the https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in portal.
However, a pensioner who is re-employed or re-married is not eligible to make Jeevan Pramaan i.e Digital Life Certificate.
Pensioners can obtain a DLC from various Citizen Service Centre (CSC ) located across India, office of Pension Disbursing Agencies (PDA) such as Post Office, Banks, Treasury etc. It can also be generated from home/any location on a Windows PC/Laptop( version 7 and above) or Android Mobile ( KitKat and above).
