PNB Salary Account Benefits: The Punjab National Bank (PNB) is offering a number of benefits and facilities on 'mySalary Account'. The interested individuals can open their salary accounts with PNB and avail these benefits. In case of any query, the interested individuals can login to the official website of PNB at pnb.india.

Benefits
The various benefits available with this account are as follows:
1) Zero Initial Deposit
2) Sweep facility
3) Overdraft facility
4) Personal accidental insurance cover
5) Free credit card
Eligibility
The interested customers must note that regular employees of central/state Govt./PSU/ Govt-semi Govt Corporation/MNCs/ reputed institutions /reputed corporate/reputed educational institutions are eligible for this account. However, the accounts of employees on contract basis will not be eligible.
Variants
There are also certain variants of this scheme based on the gross salary drawn per month. These are:
1) Silver - Rs.10,000 and above upto Rs.25,000
2) Gold - Rs. 25,001 and above upto Rs.75,000
3) Premium - Rs.75,001 and above upto Rs.150000
4) Platinum - Rs.1,50,001 and above
One must also note that nomination is also allowed for this account.
Overdraft limits
The overdraft limits for the different variants are as follows:
1) Silver - Rs. 50000
2) Gold - Rs. 150000
3) Premium - Rs. 225000
4) Platinum - Rs. 300000
Sweep facility
The interested customers must note that the Savings Bank accounts opened / maintained under the scheme will have Sweep-In / Out facility. On authorisation by primary account holder, it will automatically get initiated after ensuring an initial threshold amount of Rs 20,000/- in salary account, subject to a minimum Sweep-in / out of Rs 1,000 and in multiples of Rs 1,000 thereafter, TDRs/STDRs created through Sweep facility will be issued for a period of 7 to 365 days.
The deposit on the amount Swept-In/ Out in the account provided it had remained under FD for a minimum period of 7 days frequency of sweep will be as per extant guidelines of the bank.
Personal or accidental insurance coverage
The PAI coverage for the different variants is Rs 20 lakh. The bank will take insurance cover of Rs.18 lakh for all variants, from Insurance Co., provided salary is being credited in the account for two consecutive months in calendar quarter. The remaining amount of insurance cover will be provided for use of debit card as per extant guidelines issued from time to time by HO: DBD.
