If you wish to update date of birth on your Aadhaar Card due to any reason, then the UIDAI has laid down a detailed procedure. Follow the below steps to update date of birth on Adhaar Card.
Aadhaar Card: Documents required
- PAN card
- Passport
- Voter ID
- PDS Photo Card/Ration Card
- Driving Licence
- PSU-issued Service Photo ID Card/Government-issued Photo ID Card
- Photo ID Card issued by a recognised institute of education
- NREGS Job Card
- Arms Licence
- Photo Credit Card
- Photo Bank ATM Card
- Freedom Fighter Photo Card
- Pensioner Photo Card
- Kissan Photo Passbook
- Department of Posts issued Address Card comprising name and photograph
- ECHS/CGHS Photo Card.
- Certificate of Identity comprising photograph issued by a Tehsildar/Gazetted Officer on a letterhead.
- State/Union Territory Governments/Administrations issued handicapped medical certificate or Disability ID Card.
- Bhamashah Card.
- Certificate of Identity comprising photograph issued by an MLA/MLC/MP/Municipal Councilor on a letterhead.
- Certificate from the head of a recognised educational institution/warden/superintendent/matron.
- RSBY Card.
- Gazette notification in case of name change.
- SC/ST/OBC Certificate comprising photograph.
- SSLC book comprising photograph.
Aadhaar Card: How to change Date of Birth (DoB)
Step 1: Visit the an Aadhaar Enrolment Center nearby.
Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar Update Form, referencing your birthdate
Step 3: Submit the form and the proof of date of birth.
Step 4: To authenticate your identity, you must provide your biometrics.
Step 5: A receipt containing the URN will now be sent to you.
Step 6: You can check the status of the Aadhar update online using the URN
Step 7: Pay the executive a fee of Rs.50
Step 8: Within 90 days, your DoB will be updated in Aadhaar card.
