Women, it is the time to become "smarter" financially. Gone are the days when women used to just keep the liquid cash at home or park it in fixed deposits.
Every woman often asks few questions before entering into Mutual Fund industry. Is it safe to invest in Mutual Fund? Do such products deliver superior returns? Can I get my money when I want to?
Here are four Mutual Fund schemes which a "Smart" woman must invest in. FundsIndia has designed a special mutual fund portfolio for women.
For instance, the minimum amount for this portfolio is Rs 25,000 with a holding period of at least three year. Clearly, in the very first year, you will get a return of nearly 10-27%, 10-18% in second year and 10-16% in five years. Which means, atleast 10% you will get every year.
"Women can still keep their risk appetite low and explore more contemporary options such as mutual funds, that are not only regulated but allow investors to make small sums of investment regularly," FundsIndia said.
