A bank holiday has been declared in all state constituencies for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 4 Voting. Schools have also been shuttered as they have been turned into temporary polling booths, and further restrictions, such as Dry Day, have been imposed.
The voting is being conducted in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
The RBI has divided bank holidays into three categories: Negotiable Instruments Act Holidays, Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays, and Bank Account Closing Holidays.

The LS polling will be held in 96 Lok Sabha constituencies across 10 states and union territories.

Maharashtra: Beed, Nandurbhar, Shirdi, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar, Raver, Shirur, Jalna, Pune, Aurangabad, Maval.
Andhra Pradesh: Chittoor, Araku, Rajampet, Srikakulam, Thirupathi, Vizianagaram, Nellore, Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Anakapalli, Nandyal, Kakinada, Ongole, Amalapuram, Bapatla, Rajahmundry, Narasaraopet, Narsapuram, Guntur, Eluru, Vijayawada, Machilipatnam.
Bihar: Munger, Darbhanga, Begusarai, Samastipur, Ujiarpur.
Telangana: Khammam, Adilabad, Mahbubabad, Peddapalli, Warangal, Karimnagar, Bhuvanagiri, Nizamabad, Nagarkurnool, Zahirabad, Nalgonda, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Chevella, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Secunderabad.
Jharkhand: Palamau, Singhbhum, Lohardaga, Khunti.
Odisha: Koraput, Kalahandi, Behrampur, Nagarangpur.
Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar
Madhya Pradesh: Khandwa, Dewas, Khargone, Ujjain, Indore, Mandsour, Dhar, Ratlam.
West Bengal: Birbhum, Baharampur, Bolpur, Krishnanagar, Asansol, Ranaghat, Burdwan-Durgapur, Bardhaman and Purba.
Uttar Pradesh: Bahraich, Shahjahanpur, Akbarpur, Kheri, Kanpur, Dharuhara, Kannauk, Sitapur, Etawah, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Misrikh, Unnao.

In Phase 5 voting, 8 states/UTs are going for polls in Phase 5 of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on May 20.
