Amid broad-based buying, equity headline indices posted sharp recovery post the election outcome in Wednesday’s season. Nifty at the close ended higher by 3.36 per cent or 735.85 points at 22,620.35, while Sensex added 3.2 per cent or 2,303.19 points and ended at 74,382.24 points. Meanwhile, broader indices outperformed their headline peers.
