Bharat NCAP List: Bharat NCAP is India’s car safety assessment program, launched in October last year by Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Previously, Indian consumers relied on ratings from organizations like Global NCAP, Euro NCAP, and ANCAP. Now, Bharat NCAP is the focus for safety ratings in India. Recently, Bharat NCAP awarded 5-star ratings to two strong models from Tata Motors, instilling confidence in car buyers. Tata Curvv/Curvv.ev
The recently launched Tata Curvv, available in both electric and petrol variants, achieved a 5-star rating for child and adult occupant protection. The Tata Curvv scored 29.50 points out of 32 in adult protection and 43.66 points out of 49 in child protection, while the Curvv EV scored 30.81 points out of 32 in adult safety and 44.83 points out of 49 in child safety.
Tata Nexon/Nexon.ev
According to the latest Bharat NCAP report, both the Tata Nexon and Tata Nexon EV received a 5-star rating for adult and child occupant protection. The Nexon EV scored 29.86 points out of 32 in adult protection and 44.95 points out of 49 in child protection, while the Nexon petrol variant scored 29.41 points out of 32 in adult protection and 43.83 points out of 49 in child protection.
