Indian equities gained momentum after the initial losses and ended on a flattish note as losses in the PSU Banking and FMCG pack weighed.

Indian equities shrugged off the initial weakness after Hindenburg Research levelled allegations against SEBI chief in the Adani-Hindenburg row. Nifty ended at 24,347, down 0.08 per cent. Meanwhle, broader markets showed strength in contrast and ended in the green.
