Vodafone Idea rises after telecom firm reports Q4 results; brokerage maintains 'reduce' rating

Vodafone Idea Share Price: Vodafone Idea shares rose on BSE on Friday (May 17, 2024) after the telecom company reported fourth-quarter results largely in line with Zee Business research estimates.
The stock that closed trading at Rs 13.15 on Thursday rose by 1.06 per cent to the day's high of Rs 13.29.
Vodafone Idea shares were trading down by 0.23 per cent at Rs 13.12 at 9:41 am on Friday.

The telecom firm's margin was 40.9 per cent in Q4 compared to 40.8 per cent in Q3, against estimates of 41.1 per cent.
EBIDTA was down by 0.3 per cent to Rs 4,336 crore in Q4 compared to Rs 4,350 crore QoQ.
It was below analyst estimates of Rs 4,375 crore.
Its ARPU jumped to Rs 146 in the quarter under review against Rs 145 in the third quarter, compared to estimates of Rs 147.

Nomura has maintained 'reduce' rating on Vodafone Idea with a target of Rs 6.5.
