TD Power Systems climbs over 4% after 3.72 crore shares change hands in multiple block deals

Shares of TD Power Systems, a producer of AC generators and motors, rose over 4 per cent touching the day’s high of Rs 232.95 apiece on the NSE, after multiple block deals took place in the company in the pre-market opening session. As many as 3.72 crore shares or 23.8 per cent equity, changed hands. As per a Zee Business report, promoters and shareholders were to sell a 24.2 per cent stake in the company.

At around 9:30 AM, the stock traded at Rs 230.45 apiece, up 3.25 per cent. The scrip recovered all the losses incurred in Wednesday’s trading session.

TD Power Systems' share price has risen over 85 per cent so far in 2023, as against more than 4 per cent rise in the benchmark Nifty50. Over the last month, the stock has gained over 14 per cent against the headline index’s rise of over 2 per cent.
