The 30-share BSE Sensex fell by 379.46 points, or 0.53 per cent, to settle at 71,892.48. Nifty declined by 76.10 points, or 0.35 per cent, to close at 21,665.80.

The company will acquire a 6.32 per cent stake in O2 Renewable Energy XVI Private Limited for the purchase of renewable energy power generated from the Captive Generating Plant.
JK Paper
Delhi and Chennai GST Officers have raised a tax demand of Rs 21.65 lakh and Rs 2.42 lakh, respectively, against the company.
As per the filing, the company would file an appeal before the appellate authorities. There is no material impact on the financial, operational, or other activities of the company due to the aforesaid orders.
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company
The company's board will consider financial results for the third quarter on January 25, 2024.
