Stock market holidays 2024: As 2023 draws to a close, here is a list of holidays on D-Street in the New Year

Stock market holidays 2024: The country’s financial markets will remain shut for additional 14 days excluding weekends in 2024 on account of festivals and other holidays, according to a circular by stock exchange NSE. Dalal Street will observe three holidays in March 2024, maximum number of holidays in a month, followed by April and November with two holidays each. February and September will be the busiest months for market participants, as there are no holidays lined up during both months.

7. May 01, 2024: Wednesday, Maharashtra Day 

8. June 17, 2024: Monday, Bakri Id 

9. July 17, 2024: Wednesday, Moharram 

10. August 15, 2024: Thursday, Independence Day/Parsi New Year
