On Thursday, both main gauges ended nearly unchanged at the end of a choppy session, with the Nifty50 gaining 22.6 points to 23,750.2 and the Sensex finishing down 0.4 point at 78,472.5. FMCG giant HUL has received a GST notice demanding a penalty amounting to Rs 30.2 lakh.

HUL has said that the order is appealable and it will make an assessment to exercise its right to appeal.

It has also said that there is no material impact its financial activities or operations due to the order.

HUL has also mentioned that it made a delayed disclosure about the order as it was reviewing the same and evaluating the next steps in the matter.
