Mazagon Dock dividend: Board announces Rs 6.86/share payout

Mazagon Dock dividend: Board of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders on Tuesday announced a final dividend of Rs 6.86 per equity to the shareholders of the company for the FY2022-23. The dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs.9.10 per equity share paid earlier for FY 2022-23, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company, the company's communique said.

"The final dividend would be paid ‘within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the 90 AGM of the company," the company's regulatory filing said.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, NSE: MAZDOCK shares on Tuesday finished up 5.23 per cent or Rs 40.5 at Rs 815 apiece on NSE. Mazagon Dock's stock has zoomed around 200 per cent in the last 12 months (from May 30, 2022). In comparison, the headline index Nifty 50 has rallied over 12 per cent.
