LIC dividend 2023: Board meeting today to consider payout; shares up 1.5%

LIC dividend 2023: The board of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) is scheduled to meet today, May 24, to consider and approve its final dividend for FY 2022-23. Besides, the company is also slated to announce its March quarter and FY23 numbers today. "Board of Directors will consider, inter alia, the proposal for recommending final Dividend for the FY 2022-23, If any, in the meeting to be held on 24th May 2023," the state-run life insurance giant's regulatory filing said.

Life Insurance Corporation of India, NSE: LICI shares were up nearly 2 per cent on Monday. The counter opened at Rs 594.15 on NSE. At 11:48 AM, the stock quoted Rs 600.05, up by Rs 9.9 or 1.68 per cent.
