IRCTC Dividend: This railway PSU sets record date for interim dividend - Check details

IRCTC Interim Dividend, IRCTC Dividend Record Date, IRCTC Dividend History: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC), which earlier paid a 100 per cent final dividend to its shareholders, is expected to announce an interim dividend soon. The decision in this regard will be taken at its 132nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company. According to an exchange filing on BSE, the meeting is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

The Board of Directors will also consider the unaudited financial results of the Company for the quarter and half year ended on September 30, 2023. 

"... it is hereby informed that 132nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 7th November, 2023, inter-alia...to consider and approve the un-audited financial results of the Company for the quarter and half year ended on 30th September, 2023, after the same are reviewed by Audit Committee," the company said in an exchange filing. 

IRCTC Interim Dividend: Record Date

The IRCTC has announced that November 17 will be the record date for payment of interim dividend 2023. The record date is the date when the investor must own shares of a particular company in order to be eligible to participate in corporate events including dividend, bonus shares and others. 

"...consider declaration of Interim Dividend for FY 2023-24, if any. In terms of Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Company has fixed Friday, November 17, 2023 as the Record Date for determining eligibility of shareholders for payment of the said Interim Dividend, if declared by the Board of Directors," the exchange filing reads. 

IRCTC Dividend History

The Railway PSU has already paid a dividend of Rs 2 or 100 per cent to its shareholders for which the ex-date was August 18. Earlier, it paid an interim dividend of Rs 3.5 and the ex-date for the same was February 22, 2023.

Meanwhile, the share of IRCTC jumped around 2 per cent to touch an intraday high of Rs 658. Last seen, the scrip was up 1.77 per cent and was trading at Rs 656.50. The shares had settled at Rs 645.10 in the last trading session.  

The IRCTC share has a 52-week range of Rs 775 - Rs 557.15. The company commands a market cap of Rs 52,720 crore as of October 27, according to the BSE website.
