HUL dividend: FMCG major's stock trades ex-date

HUL dividend 2023: Shares of Hindustan Unilever traded ex-dividend on Monday, June 19. The company — whose popular brands include Lifebuoy, Dove, Lakme Cosmetics Knorr, Surf, Rin and Vaseline — earlier announced a final dividend of Rs 22 per share for the financial year ended March 2023 — a 2,200 per cent payout given the face value of Re 1 per share. HUL shares opened at Rs 2,702, down from Friday's close of Rs 2,715 on NSE after dividend adjustments.HUL shares on Monday finished down 0.97 per cent or Rs 26.4 at Rs 2,689.25 apiece on NSE.
Previously, the FMCG major earlier paid an interim dividend of Rs 17 per share, on November 17, 2022. The total dividend for the said period amounts to Rs 39 per equity share of face value of Re 1 each.
