Hindustan Zinc dividend 2023, Hindustan Zinc dividend record date: Shares of Hindustan Zinc will trade ex-dividend today, December 14 after the company announced its second interim dividend for the current financial year last week. 

On December 6, the board of Vedanta subsidiary Hindustan Zinc announced an interim dividend of Rs 6 per equity share, a 300 per cent payout given the face value of Rs 2 per share for eligible shareholders. 

"The Board of Directors of the Company through a resolution passed by circulation on Wednesday, December 06, 2023 have approved 2nd Interim Dividend of Rs. 6 per equity share i.e. 300 per cent on the face value of Rs. 2/- per share for the Financial Year 2023-24 amounting to Rs. 2535.19 crores," the miner said in an exchange filing.

December 14, Thursday has been fixed as the record date for the interim dividend. "The record date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend, as already communicated is Thursday, December 14, 2023," as per the filing.

According to the company, the interim dividend will be paid within stipulated timelines as prescribed under law.
