Good Friday holiday, stock market holidays: Indian equity, bond and commodity markets will remain shut on April 7 for Good Friday. Trading on stock exchanges NSE and BSE will resume on Monday, April 10. Here's a list of 10 additional holidays after Good Friday, according to information available on the websites of NSE and BSE.
Good Friday holiday, Stock market holidays: Indian stock, bond and commodity markets will remain shut on April 7 on account of Good Friday. Trading on stock exchanges BSE and NSE, commodity exchanges MCX and NCDEX, and the bond markets will resume on Monday, April 10.
According to the BSE website, bseindia.com, trading across cash, derivatives, and SLB or securities lending and borrowing segments will be unavailable on April 7.
When will trading be available on NSE and BSE next?
The Indian stock market will resume trading normally on Monday at 9:15 am, following a seven-minute pre-opening session starting 9:00 am, according to the BSE and NSE websites.
Is MCX closed today (April 7)?
Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain shut for both the morning as well as evening sessions on account of Good Friday.
MCX conducts trading from 9:00 am to 5:pm in the morning session, and from 5:00 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm in the evening session.
