Dividend, stock split stock: Bodhi Tree Multimedia shares will trade ex-date on February 29. Earlier, the board of the entertainment content production company announced an interim dividend of Re 0.5 per share of the face value of Rs 10 each.

"Recommended an Interim dividend of Re. 0.50 (Fifty paise) per share of face value of Rs.10/- each i.e. @ 5 per cent on equity Shares belonging to Public Category as the Promoters & Promoters Group have waived/forgone its/their right to receive the dividend by him/them for financial year 2023-24,"  according to a regulatory filing dated February 16.

The company's board has fixed February 29 as the record date for the distribution of the dividend.

"The Board has fixed Thursday, 29th February 2024 as a record date for determining entitlement of members for the purpose of payment of interim dividend," the filing added.

The dividend declared will be paid within 30 days of declaration.

Bodhi Tree Multimedia has reconsidered the sub-division of the face value of Rs 10 to Re 1 apiece, which translates into a stock split ratio of 10:1.

"The Board has reconsidered its decision taken on the 08th February 2024 w.r.t to the ratio of split/sub-division of shares of the company and instead recommended the split/sub-division of Face Value of Rs. 10/- each to Face value of Re. 1/- each subject to the approval of Members of the company," the filing added.
