Amid positive global sentiment, Indian equities reversed their weekly losses and ended on a positive note. Nifty at the close, ended 31.85 points higher, at 21,544.85, while Sensex closed the session at 71,386.21, up 30.99 points.

Meanwhile, here are the 10 stocks that buzzed in trade today:

Bajaj Auto:

Shares of the 2-wheeler major ended 1.55 per cent higher at Rs 7093.75 after the company announced its second share buyback.

L&T Technology Services:

Shares of the company ended around 2 per cent higher at Rs 5254 amid positive sentiments in the Indian IT sector.

Prestige Estates:

Shares of the real estate player ended 0.7 per cent higher at Rs 1338.95 as the company registered sales of Rs 16333.4 crore in the first nine months of FY24.

Tata Motors:

After hitting a new high, shares of the company ended over 1 per cent higher at Rs 799.5.

Tata Power:

Shares of the company ended marginally higher at Rs 340.1 as the company’s subsidiary has signed 2 MoUs with the Tamil Nadu government.

GMDC:

Shares of the mineral company also logged a new high and ended around 6 per cent higher at Rs 478.95 as the company obtained environmental clearance for capacity expansion.

Caplin Point:

The stock ended 4 per cent higher at Rs 1445 as the company committed to Rs 700 crore investment in Tamil Nadu.

Polycab India:

Shares of the company declined 9 per cent to Rs 4867.55 amid heavy volumes in the counter.

Suzlon Energy:

Shares ended 2 per cent higher at Rs 43.41 after the company announced the appointment of Sairam  as the Chief Executive Officer of Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL), a wholly owned subsidiary, with effect Jan 16, 2024. 

Skipper India:

Shares of the company ended 2 per cent higher at Rs 266.45 as the company’s board approved raising funds via issuance of Rights issue.
