After hitting a fresh record high intraday amid expectation of strong Q4 earnings, Nifty gave up a marginal 0.1 per cent or 23.55 points and closed at 22,642.75. Meanwhile, Sensex also after breaching the crucial 75,000 levels ended at 74,683.7, down 0.08 per cent.

Shares of the private lender ended over 1 per cent lower at Rs 182.7 continuing with its losing streak amid management reshuffling.

Tata Motors:

Shares of the auto company ended a tad lower at Rs 1008.5 even as the company’s JLR wholesales climbed 16 per cent on year.

Hindalco:

Shares of the metal stock ended 2 per cent higher amid gains in the broader metal index.

Nuvama Wealth:

Shares of the company after marking fresh high ended nearly 4 per cent higher at Rs 5197.9 per share.

Infosys:

Shares of the IT services major ended  over 1 per cent higher at Rs 1494.85 as BofA Securities double upgraded the stock to ‘buy’.

Cupid:

Cupid shares hit the 5 per cent upper circuit limit at Rs 133.65 after the company’s stellar Q4 performance.

Gland Pharma:

Shares of the pharma company ended over 3 per cent lower at Rs 1800.35 amid a spurt in trading volume in the counter.

Shilpa Medicare:

Shares of the company ended at Rs 522.65, up over 3 per cent, after the launch of the QIP.

Maruti Suzuki:

Shares of the auto major ended at Rs 12,888, logging marginal gains, subsequent to hitting all time high in intraday trade.

Balrampur Chini Mills:

Shares of the company ended nearly 2 per cent higher at Rs 393 amid reports that the government may direct more sugar for producing  ethanol.
