Top-performing Stocks | BSE, JM Financial among 5 stocks that have grown by one-third in 1 month; every Rs 30,000 invested turned into Rs 40,000

Share Market News: With Dalal Street ending Tuesday's session on a modest note—a day that saw benchmark indices reach fresh peaks—several stocks have rewarded investors with handsome returns over the past few weeks. For instance, five stocks—JM Financial (JMFINANCIL), Concord Biotech (CONCORDBIO), Godfrey Phillips (GODFRYPHLP), Gujarat Fluorochemicals (FLUOROCHEM), and BSE—have delivered returns of over 34 per cent in the past month, according to exchange data.

Essentially, this means that every Rs 10,000 invested in each of these five stocks appreciated to Rs 13,400 within 23 sessions:

• JM Financial (JMFINANCIL) | Return in 1 month: 56.7%
• BSE | Return in 1 month: 45.2%
• Concord Biotech (CONCORDBIO) | Return in 1 month: 35.3%
• Godfrey Phillips (GODFRYPHLP) | Return in 1 month: 35.3%
• Gujarat Fluorochemicals (FLUOROCHEM) | Return in 1 month: 34.5%

Out of these five, the top performer, JMFINANCIL, delivered a return of 56.7 per cent in a month.

To put things into perspective, a return of 56.7 per cent means that every Rs 100 of investment became Rs 156.7 during this period.

BSE | Return in 1 month: 45.2%

Three Gujarat Fluorochem shares, worth Rs 9,610 a month ago, are worth Rs 12,876.5 now.
