Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex were barely in the green at the end of a volatile session on Tuesday, as financial and FMCG shares gave in to selling pressure in the final hour of trade though buying interest in IT and auto spaces supported the upmove. Investors awaited the onset of the corporate earnings season due this week for domestic cues.

    The brokerage opines that Tata Technologies is a play on electrification.     The company received a Goods and Services Tax (GST) demand notice amounting to Rs 25,86,035.

    Tata Steel:

    The record date for the merger of Tata Steel and The Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCIL) has been fixed for Friday, January 19, 2024.

    Adani Enterprises:

    The Arbitral Tribunal has pronounced the award for the company's subsidiary Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), where it has excused MAIL from making payment of the Monthly Annual Fee (MAF) for the period from March 13, 2020, to February 28, 2022, due to the existence of force majeure. Accordingly, the amount of MAF paid by MIAL to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the period March 13, 2020, to February 28, 2022, is ordered to be refunded along with interest. 

    Tata Motors:

    Jaguar Land Rover (UK), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, reported increased sales volumes for the third quarter of FY24 (three-month period to 31 December 2023), reflecting improvements in supply as more vehicles were delivered to clients as per its filing.

    Bajaj Auto:

    The board has approved share buyback at a price of Rs 10,000 per share. This is at a premium of 43 per cent  over the current market price. The buyback will be done through the tender route. Read more
