Gur witnessed restricted movements in its prices at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today largely on arrival of new stocks amid sporadic buying interest.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar also depicted a similar trend.
Marketmen said there were sufficient availability of stocks following arrival of new stocks in the market amid restricted buying interest, mainly kept gur prices unaltered at previous levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal): Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,900-4,000, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,600-2,650, chakkuRs 3,600- 3,700, khurpa Rs 3,250-3,400 and Ladoo Rs 3,650-3,700.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,300-3,400 and dhayya Rs 3,400 3,450.
