Share Bazaar Live: Nifty slips below 16000, Sensex sheds over 1100 points; banking, realty stocks decline most

In view of the bad signals from the global markets, there has been heavy selling in the Indian stock market. The Indian stock market opened with a heavy fall and the Sensex and Nifty have seen a fall of about 2%. The Sensex has opened at the level of 53,307.88 with a fall of over 1100 points at the opening. Whereas with a fall of 268.90 points, it has opened at the level of 15971.40. During today's trading session, buying is being seen in 370 shares, while there is a sell-off in 1629 shares and there is no change in 73 shares.
