Final Trade: Indices Rebound Over 1%; Nifty Ends Above 16,100, Sensex Gains Over 400 Points

The bulls extended the rally for the second consecutive day on Thursday as benchmarks gained more than half per cent in the closing trade. The Sensex jumped 427.49 points and the index closed at the level of 54,178.46. Apart from this, the Nifty 50 index gained about 150 points and this index managed to close above 16,100.
