The domestic markets on Monday snapped a six-day losing streak and closed in the green amid neutral global cues. Both the benchmark indices – Sensex and Nifty50 gained almost 0.4 per cent, while the broader markets – mid-cap and small-cap surged over 1 per cent at the market close.

On the global front, the US indices closed mixed as Dow Jones ended flat with a negative bias, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq slipped up to 1.2 per cent on Monday. While most of the Asian indices are trading in the green, with Nikkei gained around 0.25 per cent intraday in the early morning trade.
