On Friday, the domestic equity markets fell for fourth straight session. While the BSE Sensex ended at 59,037.18, down by 427 points or 0.7 per cent from the Thursday closing level, the broader market Nifty50 settled at 17,617.15, down by 140 points ot almosy 0.8 per cent.
Stocks in the banking, IT, finance and metal sectors created pressure on the stock markets. Sensex and Nifty50 fell around 4 per cent over the week.

Monday - 24 January - Axis Bank will announce its Q3FY22 results after market hours. In the Futures & Options (F&O) segment, Deepak Nitrite, HDFC Asset Management Company (Variable) , Indian Energy Exchange (post-market) , IndiaMART InterMESH (Post-market) , Ramco Cements ((1pm-3pm) , SBI Cards (post-market) , Shriram Transport Finance (variable).
HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd to announce results, board meetings on results and other issues.
HP Adhesives: Anchor lock-in period to end on this day. Anchor Book is worth 57 cr. (Issue Price: 274, NSE listing price is Rs 315 (NSE)).
Supriya Lifescience: Anchor lock-in to end on this day; Anchor Book: 315 cr. (Issue Price: 274, NSE Listing price: 421).

Tuesday - 25 January - Cipla Ltd, Maruti Suzuki to announce Q3FY22 earnings results (1pm-3pm). In the F&O segment, Can Fin Homes (Post-market) , Federal Bank (1pm- 3pm) , Pidilite Industries (Variable), SRF (post-market), Torrent Pharma (Post-market), United Spirits (post-market).
IFCI to consider raising funds via equity mode.
Wednesday - 26 January – Equity markets to remain shut on account of Republic Day. US Federal Reserve to decide on interest rates.
Thursday - 27 January – Q3FY22 results in F&O segment. Birlasoft Ltd(Variable), Canara Bank (Variable), Coforge (Variable), Colgate (1pm-3pm), Dalmia Bharat (post-market), Indus Towers (post-market), Laurus Labs (1:30-3:30), LIC Housing Finance (variable), Nippon Life India Asset Management (post-market).
It is also the day of weekly and monthly expiry of January Series.
Adani Wilmar IPO to open on 27 January. It ends on 31 January. The issue size is Rs 3600 cr with price band at 218-230/share.
Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals - Ex-date of stock split. Sub-division of equity share of Rs 10/- each into 5 (five) equity shares of Rs 2/- each.
Friday - 28 January – Q3FY22 results ofDr Reddy’s (1pm-3pm), Kotak Mahindra Bank (12pm – 3:30pm), Larsen & Toubro (post-market). In F&O segment - AU Small Finance Bank (Post market), Chambal Fertilisers (post-martket), Marico (post-market), Max Financial Services (variable), UNITED BREWERIES (Post-market), Vedanta (variable).
CMS Infosystems: Anchor lock in to end on this day. Anchor Book: 330 cr. (Issue Price: 216, NSE Listing Price: 220.20).
MOIL buyback to open on 28 January and end on 10 February. Buyback Size: 693 cr, Buyback Price: 205/sh
