Stock Market Holidays 2021 - While a lot of action is expected in the stock markets when they reopen on Monday and over the week, the equity and currency markets will remain closed on 10 September (Friday) on account of Ganesh Chaturthi. As for agriculture commodity markets NCDEX, the closure timings is in the morning session between 9 am and 5 pm. It will reopen in the evening session between 5 pm and 9 pm.
As per the holiday calendar 2021, the stock markets will remain on four occasions during the remaining calendar year on account of Dussera which will fall on 15 October. On 4 November BSE and NSE will remain closed on account of Diwali (Laxmi Pujan) and on 5 November on account of Diwali Bali Pratipada. The Stock markets will also remain closed on 19 November on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Meanwhile, MCX and NCDEX will remain closed on all the four days during the morning sessions and will reopen for trading in the evening session.
