Sensex, Nifty likely to open in green; GIFT Nifty futures edge higher

Share Market Today, September 10, 2024: Headline indices Sensex and Nifty will likely start today's session in positive territory. At around 7:20 am, GIFT Nifty futures, an early indicator of the 50-share index, were up 36.50 points or 0.15 per cent at 25,021 ahead of the opening bell on Dalal Street.

In US stock markets, the S&P 500 closed higher at 5,480.98, up 1.35 per cent and the Nasdaq ended higher at 16,915.00, up 1.34 per cent. Meanwhile, MSCI Asia ex Japan was up 0.03 per cent.
