Nifty, Sensex Gainers & Losers: IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance end as top gainers; Nestle India slips in trade – what should investors do?
Nifty, Sensex Gainers and Losers: The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 402.73 points or 0.65 per cent to settle at 62,533.30, while NSE Nifty advanced 110.85 points or 0.60 per cent to end at 18,608 levels today.
Nifty, Sensex Gainers and Losers: The Indian equity benchmark indices ended in the green on Tuesday after retail inflation dipped below the RBI's upper tolerance level of 6 per cent for the first time in 11 months in November.
The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 402.73 points or 0.65 per cent to settle at 62,533.30, while NSE Nifty advanced 110.85 points or 0.60 per cent to end at 18,608 levels today.
From the Sensex pack, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv were among the biggest winners. However, Nestle India, Tata Steel, Maruti and Titan were among the major laggards.
IndusInd Bank: BUY – Target: Rs 1450; Upside: 17%
Shares of IndusInd Bank closed as top Nifty and Sensex gainer on Tuesday. The stock ended over 2 per cent higher to Rs 1,232.5 per share on the NSE.
Yash Agarwal, Research Analyst, Motilal Oswal estimated Profit After Tax (PAT) to report 40 per cent CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) over FY22-24, leading to 16 per cent return on equity (RoE) in FY24E. It maintained a BUY rating with a target of Rs 1,450 apiece, implying 17 per cent upside.
Bajaj Finance: SELL – Target: 5,800; Downside: 12%
Share of Bajaj Finance closed among top Nifty and Sensex gainers on Tuesday. The counter ended over 2 per cent higher to Rs 6,640 per share on the NSE.
“We are revising up core estimates by 3-5 per cent as we tweak up growth, margins and non-interest income,” Nischint Chawathe, Research Analyst, Kotak Institutional Equities said, retaining SELL rating with a target price of Rs 5,800 per share post the recent sharp rally and rich valuations.
Nestle India: BUY – Target: Rs 22,000; Upside: 8%
Shares of Nestle India closed as top Sensex loser on Tuesday. The stock ended over 0.5 per cent to Rs 20,365.00 per share on the NSE.
“We believe the street will potentially appreciate the volume-based outperformance which Nestle is delivering,” Manoj Menon, Research Analyst, ICICI Securities said, maintaining a ADD rating with a target price of Rs 22,000 per share, implying around 8 per cent upside.

1) Apollo Hospital shares ended at Rs 4,682 down over 1 per cent on the NSE from Monday's closing price.
2) UPL shares ended at Rs 765, down over 1 per cent on the NSE from Monday's closing price.
3) Hindalco Bank shares ended at Rs 457.80 down around 1 per cent on the NSE from Monday's closing price.
4) Nestle India shares ended at Rs 20, 345, down around 1 per cent on the NSE from Monday's closing price.
5) BPCL shares ended at Rs 346.70, down around 1 per cent on the NSE from Monday's closing price.
