West Bengal Fishery Recruitment 2021: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued a notification inviting online applications for multiple vacancies for the post of Fishery Extension Officer.

The WBPSC notification has mentioned that there are 100 vacancies for the posts of Fishery Extension Officer.

West Bengal Fishery Recruitment 2021: Important dates: Online application for the posts have begun from February 24, 2021 and will continue till March 17, 2021. The last date for payment of fees is also March 17.

West Bengal Fishery Recruitment 2021: Pay: The salary for the posts is in line with pay matrix level 10 (Rs.32,100/- – Rs.82,900/-) as per the WBS(ROPA) Rules,2019.

West Bengal Fishery Recruitment 2021: Educational qualifications: The candidates must have the following qualifications in order to apply for the post:

1) The candidate must have four years bachelor's degree in Fishery Science from a recognised university.

2)  The candidate must have a knowledge on fisheries, aquaculture, aquatic resources and fishing harbour in West Bengal.

3) The candidate must be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali.

West Bengal Fishery Recruitment 2021: Age limit: The age limit of the candidate should not be more than 39 years as on January 1, 2021. However, the upper age limit will be relaxable for the candidates holding substantive appointments under the central and the state government.

West Bengal Fishery Recruitment 2021: Application fee: The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 160 for registering.
