REET 2020: Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers to fill 31000 Grade 3 teachers posts in February, notification soon

REET 2020: The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers will be conducted in February and notification in this regard will be out any day in November.  

Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra said that the notification for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2020 will be released as soon as the Election Commission grants approval. 

“File is with the Election Commission for approval due to the code of conduct in the state and official notification will be issued as soon as approval from the Commission is received,” Dotasra said. 

The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is conducted to fill up 31000 Grade 3 teachers posts in the state.  

The announcement to release REET 2020 notification in November was made by the School Education minister Govind Singh Dotasra in October. 

On 14th October, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, 2020 approved the proposal for recruitment of Grade 3 Teachers in the state after the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is conducted.  

The decision to conduct REET 2020 in February 2021 was taken by the State Government keeping in view of the lessen work burden between the months of November and February. 

Also, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has decided to conduct the Rajasthan Board Exams 2021 in April owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

About 11 lakh candidates are waiting for the REET teacher recruitment examination. The education department has said that the REET Recruitment will be released soon with complete preparation.  

The education minister has held a detailed discussion about this recruitment in a meeting with departmental officials.
