India Post GDS Recruitment 2021: 233 posts for Gramin Dak Sevaks with TRCA allowances up to Rs 14,500 in Delhi circle available - last day today

India Post GDS Recruitment 2021: The last date of application for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in the Delhi postal circle had been extended till March 1, 2021.

A total number of 233 vacancies has been released. The application for this India Post GDS recruitment started on January 27, 2021 and closed on Friday, February 26. However, the last date for application has been extended till March 1.

Candidates will be hired for the posts of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak.

The following minimum time related continuity allowance (TRCA) will be payable to the categories of GDS as mentioned in
Directorate Order No.17-31/2016-GDS dated 25.06.2018.

1) For BPM - Rs 12000 (Minimum TRCA for 4 hours/Level 1 in TRCA Slab) and Rs 14,500 (Minimum TRCA for 5 hours/Level 2 in TRCA slab)

2) ABPM/Dak Sevak - Rs 10000 (Minimum TRCA for 4 hours/Level 1 in TRCA Slab) and Rs 12000 (Minimum TRCA for 5 hours/Level 2 in TRCA slab)

The minimum and maximum of age for the purpose of engagement to GDS posts shall be 18 and 40 years respectively as on 27.01.2021.
A relaxation of up to five years is applicable for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories while a relaxation of up to three years is applicable for the candidates belonging to the OBC categories.

Interested candidates must have a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English from a recognized board
