Teachers jobs offer in Bihar teacher recruitment drive: It is a prestigious Sarkari naukri offer! Crisis of teachers in the primary schools of Bihar will be soon addressed. There is an important development in the recruitment process of 94,000 teachers for primary schools. The process to recruit teachers in primary schools of the state have been going on for the last one-and-half-years. In a good news for the applicants of Bihar primary school teachers, the state education department has released the final merit list.

Talking to Zee News, Primary Education Department director, Bihar, Ranjit Kumar, said," The appointment of teachers on 94,000 posts of teachers from Class 1 to 8 is going to start. To facilitate the appointment of teachers, final merit list has already been released. Date of the counselling will be declared next week, following which candidates will be given appointment letters."

Earlier, the recruitment of around 94,000 state government teachers who had cleared mandatory Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in December 2019 were put on hold.  

However, after getting green signal from the government, primary education department of the state is preparing to distribute joining letter. Bihar education department has released the merit list and soon joining letter will be distributed among 94,000 qualified teachers.

In July 2019, the process to recruit teachers for primary schools (Class 1 to 5) and Class 6 to 8 was started by the Bihar education department. The government has even fixed the dates for distributing joining letter, however, then the matter kept delaying either due to lockdown or being dragged in to court.  

From last few days, there were rumors that the recruitment might be cancelled, forcing the candidates to sit-in protest in Patna.
