7th Pay Commission latest news today: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting government job (Sarkari Naukri) applications from eligible candidates for the post of Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General (Technical). After successful completion of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be given Level-12 pay scale under 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission) rules and other Seventh Pay Commission perks like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), Medical Reimbursement, etc. The job is permanent in nature and the selected candidate will be appointed as General Central Services Group-“A” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) officer. Interested candidates can check details like eligibility criteria, experience, pay scale, etc at the UPSC website — upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply for the Sarkari Naukri is 1st April 2021.
7th CPC Pay Scale
As per the UPSC central government job notification, the selected candidates will be appointed in Level-12 of the 7th Pay Commission that means the candidate after selection will get a pay scale of Rs 78,800 to Rs 2,09,200 per month. Apart from this, they will be eligible for other 7th CPC perks like DA, TA, HRA, etc.
Seventh Pay Commission Job Details
The 7th CPC job offered will be governed by the New Pension Scheme of 01.01.2004, declares UPSC in the job notification. The candidate will be appointed on a permanent basis subject to successful completion of one year probation. The post is permanent in nature and selected candidates will be appointed as General Central Services Group-“A” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) officer.

Age Limit
The applicant should not be exceeding 45 years as on normal closing date i.e. 1s April 2021. Age limit is relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time.
