These teaching jobs offer massive salary packages under the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. As per the job notification, selected candidates will be paid salary as per Level 11 of 7th CPC matrix plus NPA. So, candidates selected for Assistant Professor posts will be given a salary from Rs 67,700-Rs 2,08,700 per month plus dearness allowance (DA) and other allowances. These vacancies have also been notified by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Job notification crucial information
The commission has invited applications from candidates for Assistant Professor posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the post through UPSC official website upsc.gov.in. Last date to apply for UPSC Assistant Professor post is April 15, 2021, while printing of completely submitted online application should be completed on or before April 16. As many as 28 posts will be filled under this UPSC recruitment 2021 drive.

2 Assistant Professor (Physiology): 2 Posts  
3 Assistant Professor (Psychiatry): 11 Posts

Eligibility Criteria: A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) is essential for candidates to apply for the posts mentioned above.  

Application Fees: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community.  

Age limit: Candidates applying for these posts should not be more than 40 years. Applicable relaxations in the upper age limit will be provided to different categories of candidates as per government norms.
