7th Pay Commission: Vacancy details: This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill in 13 vacancies for the post of Deputy Secretary in various departments. The posts under different departments are as follows:
Deputy Secretary(Intellectual Property Rights), Deputy Secretary (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016),  Deputy Secretary (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Mission), Deputy Secretary (Environment Policy), Deputy Secretary (Environment Policy), Deputy Secretary (Food Processing), Deputy Secretary (Manufacturing Sector), Deputy Secretary (Urban Water Management), Deputy Secretary (Mining Legislation and Policy),  Deputy Secretary (Sagarmala and PPP), Deputy Secretary (Electricity Distribution), Deputy Secretary (Rural Livelihood), Deputy Secretary (Information Technologies) and Deputy Secretary (Iron/Steel Industry).

7th Pay Commission pay: The pay scale for the above-mentioned posts is according to the Level-12 in the pay matrix, as per 7th CPC Pay scales. The gross salary per month would be Rs. 1,19,000 (approx.) including Basic Pay, HRA, DA and TA.

Age limit: The minimum and maximum age limit for the Deputy Secretary level post is 32 and 40 years, respectively.

Important dates: The interested candidates will be able to submit online application form till May 3, 2021 until 11.59 PM. The last date for the printing of completely submitted online application form is May 4, 2021 until 11.59 PM.

Eligibility: The following with a minimum of experience of 10 years for Deputy Secretary Level posts are eligible to apply:

1) Officers of any state/union territories who are already working at equivalent level or are eligible for appointment to equivalent level in their cadre, with relevant experience

2) Individuals working at comparable levels in public sector undertakings (PSUs), autonomous bodies, statutory organizations, universities, recognized research institutes

3) Individuals working at comparable levels in private sector companies, consultancy organizations, International/multinational organizations
